One thing I love about burlesque dance is that any body type can do it. It encourages everyone to love their body and embrace it wholeheartedly. The moves are mostly low impact so any body type can do them. Pressing that play button might be the start to loving your body because you’re telling the world that you believe in your sexiness!
2. Feel Sexier Inside And Out
If you’ve always struggled with feeling sexy, burlesque dance can help improve that part of your personality. Burlesque dance takes a lot of emotion and physicality that you HAVE to embrace your inner sex goddess. Even if the move is just to crawl back and forth, the way you attack that crawl will change the way you feel about yourself overall.

Devils burlesque classes are designed for students interested in learning on a regular basis and work towards a polished routine - either for stage or just for fun!
Places are strictly limited in this class and provided on a first come, first served basis.
No experience whatsoever is needed. Any size, shape or gender. All levels of skill can be catered to.
Over 8 weeks you will learn to exude confidence and sex appeal - plus the fundamentals of burlesque!
Each class is designed to teach you a combination of technique, musicality and performance tips. You will spend part of your class learning these skills, and the other part working towards a group routine (performance is optional).
You will have an opportunity to perform this group routine together at The Devils Burlesque Academy Grad show.

Our 8 week courses $145 What to Wear/Bring Comfortable clothing you can move in (leggings, shorts, tees) are recommended. You will be bending and stretching so moveable clothing is essential. We recommend dance heels up to 5cm or a pair of flat shoes (no ankle breakers!). Bring a bottle of water. If performing in one of our shows. You may be required to purchase or provide a costume. Performance is completely optional. Min 4 and max 10 students per class

Silk veil fans party The Silk Veil Fans flow is accentuated by wind and large sweeping movements while the vibrant fabric wraps you in elegance and beauty. The rushing sound of lightweight fabric flutters past like silken river sparkled under the sunlight. These gorgeous long silk veil fans inspire us to dance and party! In this entry level workshop, we will be learning basic movements and cooperation with your fans through a 1 minute choreography. Props will be supplied in studio. What to bring: comfortable dance wear and shoes/socks. Water.
Our 10 week classes start June 2024 Consisting of eight 1-hour classes over eight weeks, this course is an introduction to burlesque, the hottest trend in town, bringing together a sizzling style movement to music with elaborate vintage costumes (optional), cool retro tunes and a lot of sassy fun! Learn how to be a total glamour queen, how to walk and dance in heels and how to exude confidence and sex appeal! And of course, you'll learn all the fundamentals of burlesque moves. You will learn the art of the feather boa dance, the glove tease as well as a sexy burlesque floor routine. Combined with costuming tips, performance hair & make-up techniques as well as musicality basics, you will learn a progressive group routine over the 8 weeks. You will have an opportunity to perform this group routine together at the Devils Burlesque student Graduation show. WHAT TO WEAR Comfortable clothing and easy to dance in heels recommended (but not essential!) Please note that if you do want to participate in the optional grad show performance at the end of the course, there will be additional costs/sourcing involved in purchase of costume items and presentation, which will be talked about in week 1. RESTRICTIONS This course is open to all genders, over 18 years old. No experience whatsoever is needed to take the course.
